Covington - Muriel Robinson, 68, of Palmetto, Fla, a former resident of Covington died in a hospital at Sarasota, Fla Monday after an extended illness. Mrs. Robinson was a secretary at Douglass & Nelson Abstract Co for many years. She left the area in the 1940s to take a job as secretary in the Civil Service at Washington DC. After moving to Florida, she was a substitute rural mail carrier. She was a graduate of Covington HS. Born Sept 2, 1911 in Vermillion County, she was a daughter of Joseph E. and Mertie Keerns Martin. She married Edward Robinson who is deceased. Surviving are a son, Edward G, of Palmetto; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie L. Brown of Bloomington; Mrs. Ann J. Linton of New Richmond and Mrs. Gladys O. Pool of Monon; and nieces and nephews. A brother, Orville is deceased. Services were conducted
